Terms & Conditions – Laboratoo

1. Introduction

Welcome to Laboratoo (“Platform”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, mobile applications, and services.

By using Laboratoo, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

 

2. Definitions

  • “Laboratoo”: The digital marketplace connecting Users with diagnostic laboratories and healthcare Providers.
  • “User”: Any individual booking or using services on the Platform.
  • “Provider”: Independent laboratories, clinics, or healthcare entities offering services عبر Laboratoo.
  • “Services”: Lab test bookings, home sample collection, report access, and related offerings.

 

3. Nature of the Platform (Marketplace Model)

Laboratoo operates strictly as a technology-enabled marketplace.

Laboratoo:

  1. -Facilitates discovery, comparison, and booking of lab services
  2. -Enables payments and communication between Users and Providers

Laboratoo does NOT:

  • -Provide medical care or diagnostic services
  • -Employ or control Providers
  • -Act as a healthcare provider or medical authority

-At all times, Providers act as independent third parties.

 

4. Eligibility

To use the Platform, you must:

  • -Be at least 18 years old
  • -Provide accurate and complete information
  • -Use the Platform in compliance with applicable laws and regulations

 

5. Account Registration & Security

You agree to:

  • -Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • -Accept full responsibility for all account activity
  • -Notify Laboratoo immediately of unauthorized access

-Laboratoo is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account use.

 

6. Booking, Pricing & Payments

  • -All bookings are subject to Provider availability
  • -Pricing may vary based on location, time, and Provider policies


Payments

  • -Payments may be made in the Platform or directly to Providers
  • -Insurance usage is subject to Provider validation and approval

  • Final pricing may differ based on:
  • -Insurance coverage
  • -Additional services
  • -On-site assessments

Laboratoo acts solely as a payment facilitator (where applicable) and is not responsible for billing disputes.

 

7. Cancellations, Refunds & No-Show Policy

  • -Cancellation policies are defined by laboratoo
  • -Refund eligibility depends on timing and rules

Laboratoo reserves the right to:

-Deny refunds for late cancellations or completed services

-Apply no-show penalties

  • -Process refunds within a reasonable timeframe

 

8. Provider Responsibility & Regulatory Compliance

8.1 Independent Providers

All Providers are independent entities and not employees or agents of Laboratoo.

 

8.2 Full Responsibility of Providers

Each Provider bears sole and complete responsibility for:

  • -Accuracy and validity of test results.
  • -Sample collection, handling, and processing.
  • -Service quality and timelines.
  • -Staff qualifications and certifications.
  • -Safety, hygiene, and operational standards.

-Laboratoo shall have no liability whatsoever for Provider performance.

 

8.3 Compliance with Local Regulations

Each Provider represents and warrants that it:

  • -Is fully licensed in its jurisdiction.
  • -Complies with all applicable healthcare laws and regulations.
  • -Adheres to data protection and patient privacy laws.
  • -Maintains all required approvals and certifications.

-This includes compliance in every country or region where the Platform operates.

Laboratoo:

  • -Does not guarantee Provider compliance.
  • -Does not conduct continuous regulatory audits.
  • -Shall not be liable for any regulatory violations by Providers.

 

8.4 No Medical or Clinical Liability

Laboratoo is not responsible for:

  • -Misdiagnosis or incorrect results.
  • -Medical decisions or treatments.
  • -Health outcomes or complications.
  • -Delays, errors, or omissions in reports.

-All clinical responsibility lies entirely with the Provider and the User’s physician.

 

8.5 No Warranty

All services are provided by Providers on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Laboratoo makes no warranties regarding:

  • -Accuracy of results
  • -Provider reliability
  • -Service availability

 

8.6 Limitation of Platform Role

Laboratoo’s role is strictly limited to:

  • -Listing Providers
  • -Enabling bookings
  • -Facilitating payments and communication

-Laboratoo is not involved in service delivery.

 

8.7 User Acknowledgment

By using the Platform, you acknowledge that:

  • -Laboratoo is not a healthcare provider
  • -Providers are solely responsible for services
  • -Any disputes must be addressed directly with the Provider

 

8.8 Indemnification for Provider Actions

You agree that Laboratoo shall not be held liable for any claims arising from:

  • -Provider negligence or misconduct
  • -Regulatory violations
  • -Medical errors
  • -Service failures

 

9. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • -Provide false or misleading information
  • -Misuse the Platform
  • -Engage in fraudulent activity
  • -Violate applicable laws

 

10. Platform Availability

Laboratoo does not guarantee uninterrupted access.

We may suspend or restrict access due to:

  • -Maintenance
  • -Security concerns
  • -Legal requirements

 

11. Data Privacy & Protection

Laboratoo collects and processes personal and health-related data as necessary.

By using the Platform, you consent to:

  • -Data sharing with Providers for service delivery
  • -Processing in accordance with applicable laws

12. Intellectual Property

All Platform content (logos, design, software, text) is owned by Laboratoo.

Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.

 

13. Third-Party Services

Laboratoo may integrate or link to third-party services.

We are not responsible for:

  • -External content
  • -Third-party actions or policies

 

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Laboratoo shall not be liable for:

  • -Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • -Loss of data, profits, or business
  • -Medical or clinical outcomes
  • -Provider actions or omissions

-Total liability (if any) shall not exceed the amount paid on the Platform.

 

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Laboratoo harmless from any claims arising from:

  • -Your misuse of the Platform
  • -Violation of these Terms
  • -Disputes with Providers

 

16. Termination

Laboratoo may suspend or terminate access if:

  • -Terms are violated
  • -Fraud is suspected
  • -Required by law

 

17. Modifications to Terms

Laboratoo may update these Terms at any time.

Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

 

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of: State of Qatar

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Qatari courts.

 

19. Dispute Resolution (Optional Upgrade – Recommended)

Before initiating legal action, parties agree to:

  • -Attempt resolution through negotiation
  • -Consider mediation or arbitration where applicable
